You can pay for your office visits and treatment by cash, check, Master Card or Visa at the time of treatment. We are not participating providers with any dental insurance carriers, except United Concordia and Delta Dental Premier, but we will submit to all carriers as a courtesy to you.

To be a participating provider simply means that the office agrees to accept what the insurance company dictates as an acceptable fee for the treatment provided. The treatment provided here is not average, and the materials are the finest that the industry now has available, therefore, I am not comfortable allowing the insurance carriers to dictate the value of the services provided here.  Amalgam, or silver restorations, are no longer the restoration of choice, and very few are placed in this office.  Our fees are normally close enough to your insurance carrier's "fee" tables that the difference between participation and non-participation to you is only a few dollars.

We apply a 5% courtesy for payment in full on the date of service for all dental treatment using cash or check.  Due to the recent changes in credit card processing fees, we are no longer able to apply a similar courtesy with credit card payments. Patients who are over the age of 63 receive receive a 10% courtesy for payment in full on the date of service with cash or check.

Families who are seen for their maintenance appointments within one week of each other (more than 3 is considered for the family courtesy), a 10% courtesy is applied with payment in full using cash or check as well.

Outside financing through Care Credit, Chase Health Card and Northern Michigan Bank is available and is simple to apply for. Care Credit is a revolving line, as is Chase Health. Northern Michigan Bank is set up as a loan, and is not a revolving line of credit.
